Evelyn Law, CPA, has an impressive career with experiences that help her bring resources to the clients she serves. A few of the highlights of that career include:

nine years supervising internal audits for a quasi-governmental organization with $900,000,000 in revenues;
six years managing internal audits for a county with $2,000,000,000 in revenues;
five years supervising accounting for county agencies with $100,000,000 in revenues;
five years performing public accounting and auditing for local governments and small businesses; and,
one year managing the development of compliance auditing and training programs for a money services business with $3,000,000,000 in revenues.

For several years, she was the featured speaker for the Federal Reserve System’s week-long “Audit School,” where new internal auditors received their training.

She has BA and BS degrees in accounting with honors from Texas Woman’s University in Denton. And she is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and both the American Institute and Colorado Society of CPAs.

Evelyn’s husband of more than three decades, Gary, was “the boy next door,” and they began dating when she was a senior in high school and he a college sophomore. Their parents are still neighbors in Dallas. Besides Texas and Colorado, the two have lived in California, Kansas and Germany.

When they have time, they like to hike, target shoot and watch the latest movies. Evelyn also is very active in her church, having served in numerous leadership positions.
